John McCain joined South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham at a town hall in Londonderry, New Hampshire to discuss the state of the nation. Both are veterans-- Graham just retired from the Air Force after 33 years of service and deployments in Afghanistan and Iraq, and McCain's famous role in the Navy. Both deplored the state of the VA and poor treatment of veterans.
McCain spoke of a compromise made with Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders to overhaul the VA billing system to allow veterans to get care at any facility if they live more than 40 miles from a VA hospital.
