Marist: Romney 23, Gingrich 19

HT: Marist
The latest McClatchy-Marist poll results on the 2012 GOP field are likely to shake both candidates, and voters alike, especially when you take into account the reallignment of supporters from Cain to Gingrich that has occurred over the last month.

Mitt Romney - 23%.
Newt Gingrich - 19%.
Herman Cain - 17%.
Unbdecided - 17%.

Good times are here again for Newt.
This poll confirms the growing Gingrich surge I have been writing about for a couple of weeks now, and the Cain decline I've been quietly expecting, although I'm rather surprised at the number of those still undecided with just 60 days until Iowa and New Hampshire kick our primary season into gear.

Unfortunately, Romney cannot bust over the 25% ceiling yet, although I have a feeling that will change once voters head to the polls.

What say you?

  1. I will NEVER vote for the guy who lost to McCain and gave us the grandfather to ObamaKare.

I could see myself being coaxed into voting for Newton, but I'm still holding on for Cain.
