Kremlin Planning Major Announcement, Stage Being Constructed in Red Square

In the midst of Vladimir Putin's mysterious absence, it appears that the Kremlin is announcing something big. Pictures of Putin allegedly meeting a leading judge today may be formerly staged photos. Beyond this, a large stage is being built in Red Square-- right near Boris Nemstov's murder:

The Kremlin has now announced that there will be a major announcement in the next couple of days. It has advised journalists not to leave Moscow. The exact announcement is still unknown but sparking speculation.

A source in the press service of the President of Russia says he is preparing a major announcement in the near future; and for this reason, heads of relevant media are asked to be ready in the next few days for a possible press conference.

This was indirectly confirmed by the CEO of the Center for Political Information polit-info, Alexei Mukhin.

Very interesting as Putin's next planned meeting is slated for Monday.

  3. I said three months ago that the Ukraine crisis would probably end when we all woke up one morning and read on the news that Putin was no longer in power. Could I have guessed right for once?

I can't come up with any explanation that ties all of these developments together other than the fact that Putin is no longer in power.

Either he's dead, totally incapacitated, or there's been a palace coup against him and he's lying in a closet somewhere with a rag in his mouth and a bullet in his head.

Would they build a stage in the center of Red Square to announce the birth of Putin's child? Would they make a "major announcement" of their intentions in Ukraine, let alone construct a stage in Red Square to do it? Is a visit from North Korea's Kim Jong-Un worthy of a "major announcement"?

My guess is that the stage is for the inauguration of Russia's next president, most likely Dmitry Medvedev. Also, if Putin's body is to lie in state so that ordinary Russians can file by to view it, as is Russian custom, then a structure will be needed for that purpose as well.

I think he's toast. I certainly hope so anyway.

  5. My, you do have a very narrow and closed mind. There are so MANY other things this could be about. Also, Putin is probably busy actually WORKING on whatever he is planning to announce. There are also suggestions that he has proof positive (satellite imagery) that 911 did not happen according to the official story. Anyhow, your mind seems only capable of projecting your deep-seated desires, rather than looking at the facts plainly. Don't believe all the propaganda you read about Russia. Most of it is just hogwash that simple-minded people are all too eager to believe.

  6. Whatever the announcement may be, we can obviously be assured that it will be done with grandiose fan fare and fireworks. A US convoy of massive proportions on railway trucks rumbled through Romania yesterday......all day. I have my doubts they will be there for the birth of a baby!

  7. Perhaps Putin is simply reading War And Peace by Tolstoy." ;-)

  8. I believe they are tearing down their annual ice skating rink sponsored by GUM. It is not a stage. People Ice skate in the Red Square every year.

  9. Are you seriously suggesting that Putin would have proof that 9/11 was an inside job? And THAT is what they're building a stage for on Red Square? To announce this?

And Dan has a narrow mind?

    Get ahold of yourself, man.
