Republican Pulls Ahead in MA Governor's Race

Perhaps we are looking at a repeat of the famous 2010 Scott Brown miracle in Massachusetts. We have Martha Coakley, the former state Attorney General, again the Democratic nominee, this time for Governor. She is facing off against Charlie Baker, who ran for Governor in 2010 and garnered 42% of the vote in a three way race.

The most recent Boston Globe poll has Baker up three points. This places the surging Baker in the lead in the RealClearPolitics poll of polls by a narrow 0.2%. Both are fighting to replace unpopular governor Deval Patrick and Coakley again appears to be uninspiring.
