Breaking: Boehner Out as Speaker

Update- Surprise: Michele Bachmann defects from ultra-right wing, hands Boehner reelection.

From CNS News:
I have confirmed with a group of Congressmen that House Speaker John Boehner will not be reelected Speaker tomorrow.

He will either resign or be forced out tomorrow.

Only 17 members are needed to block Speaker Boehner's election tomorrow. A Speaker needs an absolute majority of all votes cast for a specific person.

If no one has a majority, the House is speakerless. I've confirmed these rules with the House Parliamentarian.
Word is he's a little upset

    2. You're a moron teabagging piece of excrement...We gave you Bob Dole, George W. Bush, McCain, Romney...So what if they are loser RINO's. So what if Boehner is another loser RINO...you should be grateful...or something like that.

    4. Thugbama? Really? What are you, 12? The man gets elected, the Republicans hamstring him at every turn, and you think HE'S the thug? I do wonder what planet half your country (I'm not American) lives on sometimes.

    5. I do wonder about why members from other countries think they should comment on things.

While I can agree that the majority of American's are nothing more than consumers of commercial soundbites -- at least, as an American, I can make that assessment.

You see, the fact that the republican's hamstring Obama -- i don't find that to be a bad thing. I'm not a republican -- and yet, I'm glad that the president cannot get his way whenever he wants. I don't consider it thuggish behavior -- I consider it, our political system working. There are checks and balances. If we didn't want him hamstrung, then the people who were elected, wouldn't be elected. As it is, there are roadblocks in the way, because, as a nation -- tho we can agree on certain base ideals, we don't agree on the image of that ideal or how its attained -- and as such, this country is divided.

    6. I am a dual-citizen from (another country - a civilized and neighboring one) and now I have the legal right to tell Americans they make me sick to their faces. Especially the Republican trash. It is important for you to know how disgusted the rest of the planet is with you, your guns, your 19th century economic ideas, your endemic racism, your disdain for democracy, etc.... Because you have imposed yourselves on others and other countries you have now invited the world to criticize you forever more. And it only will get worse as the world gets smaller, unless idiots like you wake up and join the rest of the civilized world.

    7. I hate to break it to you but Racism exists within every country on this Planet. You will inevitably find, someone or some people who do not like a portion of the worlds populace. I am glad that you do not speak for the rest of the world as your post would suggest. Why dont you try practicing some tolerance?

    9. It's blowback, mateys. The US went around trying to tell everyone else what to do and now the rest are coming here to tell the US what to do. Well, Americans should have thought about that a looooong time ago. They should also take responsibility for their foreign policy instead of being willfully ignorant and allowing corporate interests to define the national interest in the absence of an informed citizenry, rather than being responsible democratic citizens and defining the national interest through the democratic system.

You reap what you sow and now in a globalized world you have a lot of disgusted fellow world citizens willing to point their fingers at you and name you as guilty for being willfully ignorant.

      Delete
    10. I just had a hilarious thought. This blowback is not violent, it is primarily at the level of nagging. And now the US can look forward to everyone else nagging at it. Such as: You're not democratic enough; you're too racist; you're too violent; you're population is too ignorant; half of you are just plain mean and selfish; half your population exists in a cocoon of propaganda and misunderstands reality (that's the Republicans); your Republicans are like parasites taking credit for the good things the terrific Americans do to help others and themselves advance when their own policies reflect a cheapness and indifference; etc...,etc.... LMAO

You aren't a republican, any asswipe that does nothing but name-call with literally no point has got to be a flaming liberal.

    1. THUGBAMA? I guess that first guy name calling is not a republican as well.

    2. Wait, and calling someone a flaming liberal isn't name-calling? You logic is just impeccable. C'mon REAL Republicans...take back your party from the crazies that are currently at the helm.

    3. You dazzling dimwis had a golden opportunity to nominate Conservative, Newt Gingrich for POTUS. But, instead, you clueless, insufferable know-it-alls nominated loopy Obama-lite ..., and you fault Repblican Congressmen for choosing Boehner as their Speaker? LOL Dayum, you're dumb.

    4. Isn't that just precious that the best you guys can come up with is crazy, racist, hypocritical, serial cheater, Newt Gingrtch??! That's **REALLY** scraping the bottom of the barrel. There haven't been any decent Republicans elected in many years. And you guys are so mentally ill that you actually think that Newt Gingrich is qualified to make a colony on the moon, oops, I mean be president of the United States. That really demonstrates how low you've sunk. Why don't you concentrate on ridding your party of the 6-year-old racists who throw tantrums and call the current president "Thugbama" and liberals "Libtards" because they getall their false propaganda from Fox News and Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter. Those are the people running your party, those are the people representing your party, and those are the people who your party panders to, those are the people fighting the War on Women, the War on Blacks, the War on Gays, and the War on Separation of Church and State. So you've got to do something about your party, before you're ever going to get anyone elected. Better yet, just abandon it, because you and I know very well that there is absolutely no hope of reforming your hateful, misogynistic, homophobic, bigoted, xenophobic, bible thumping, anti-science, anti-math, anti-reality, immature, bullying, embarrassing, disgraceful party.

      Delete
    5. Ahahaha, there's nothing more precious than when conservatives don't get their way, and instead of learning from it, immediately just dismiss it as having been liberal in the first place. "What? Romney LOST!? MUSTA BEEN A LIBRUL!11! WE NEED TO CONSERVATIVE EVEN HARDER NEXT TIME!1!"

Yes, please be even more extreme next time. As polls have demonstrated, the majority of Americans think the GOP has gone off the deep end and is too extreme (not that you teabaggers care - you've shown us 'math and book learnins for fags', and aren't on speaking terms with reality. Painting Romney as a 'liberal' will just continue to discredit you and make your party even more of a joke than it already is. I can't thank you enough for that - 2016 is going to be a cakewalk.

      Delete
    6. LOL - in follow up to the above, seems that Boehner will not lose his Speaker position because Bachmann is not voting against him after all.

I'm sure teatards will simply throw a nother tantrum and call her a RINO, as they are wont to do.

  3. There are no good Republicans so you might as well keep the crybaby. After '14 you won't need any anyway.

    1. Alas, even if they were to implode, which they won't, you will remain a creepy, little loser with nothing to gain.

All of your bizarre opinions are based entirely on your wishful thinking ..., on contrived, bogus bullshit (aka, lies) ..., on exaggeratons ..., on distortions ...., and on bizarre rationales which reinforce your bizarre delusions.

No substance. No facts. Just bullshit. You retard.

    4. Always cute watching someone who doesn't have a legitimate argument to make trot out big words to try to detract from the fact that they're a sniveling little weasel without a legitimate argument to make; "Creepy!" "Loser!" "Bogus!" "Bullshit!" "Delusions!"

Your side is the one having issues with facts, math and reality, teabagger. Good thing for the rest of us - reality doesn't give a shit how deluded you think other people are when you've been factually proven wrong on several counts and adequately demonstrated your political party has but the most tenuous grasp on little things like 'math' and 'statistics', and isn't even on speaking terms with facts and truth. Reality will still be here, to smack around your delusional teabagger ass next election cycle, while you continue to diminish into nothing and the GOP continues to implode into irrelevance.

    2. LOL - it's so laughable how you teatards immediately try to discredit anything you find unfavorable by associating it with Obama. As if the last election hadn't taught you that the majority of Americans are smart enough to see through your pathetic little unsubstantiated ad-hominems.

Keep it up - your party's implosion is making this laughably easy.

    3. 100% spot on. They just shine up the turd that is their entire platform of coddling the rich with a sprinkling of 'family values' to placate the people who are stupidly more concerned with regulating people's relationships and abortions than solving the actual problems in this country.

    1. Yeah, Warrior, LOL, we need a pitbull like Allen West, who voted with the Congressional Black Caucus on THREE key pieces of legislation which Republicans stringently opposed, lying to his constituents, also, with a lame excuse that he was misinformed by his staff as to the contents of that legislation, and then voting with the Congressional Black Caucus yet a FOURTH time. BTW, FYI, Warrior, all of the members of the Congressional Black Caucus are extremist, far left-wing Democrats, not even Rinos like that phony, West, is.

Who would be surprised to learn that Warrior is a Democrat subversive here?

They think that they fool everybody. But they fool only themselves.

      Delete
    2. You just resent Alan West because he isn't a racist like the rest of the Republican party. But he's certainly batshit insane, which is why he's a Republican. You guys need to work on your mental health issues, before ever going to get anyone elected again. Oh, and stop being such a bunch of racists. And give the War on Women a break while you're at it, too. And stop fighting against gay marriage because you're so afraid that gays getting married will undermine your own unhappy shame marriage.

      Delete
    3. Mental health issues is what happens when you're a party of idealism instead of practicality. The GOP will keep spewing its rhetoric and idealisms past the point where they're completely irrelevant, I'm afraid.

  13. I like John Biehner. Well, sort of. But I will grant you that his bizarre sobbing was getting to be a bit too mich there for a while, leading me to worry that he is probably mentally unstable, only slightly more sane than that babbling, batty old broad, Nancy Pelosi.

  16. There you go, right-wing media. You told the right what they wanted to hear, echoed it around, and got some clicks and advertising revenue. The next day comes, and Boehner has been re-elected Speaker. It's another "Romney landslide". I hope you're put out of business for making the right look like chumps over and over again. Stop baiting people with speculation for business purposes and start dealing with reality.
