Israeli Embassy Attacked in Cairo

The Israeli Embassy in Cairo was attacked by thousands of Egyptian radicals today, forcing the Ambassador and his family to return to Israel on military transport.

No Israeli citizens were seriously hurt in the attack, and the embassy has yet to be breached as of last report, but Egyptian police reportedly did nothing when the violent mob assaulted the complex on the Nile River.

This represents the latest fracturing in Israeli-Egyptian relations since the ouster of President Hosni Mubarak, who supported Israel and their 1979 peace treaty, and the rise of an more Islamic society since the revolts in the early Spring. Some islamic factions are now openly calling for war on Israel as they gain in power leading to parliamentary elections later this year.

Please pray for Israel.

What say you?

  1. Apparently the "Arab spring" is just an excuse to be murderously anti-Semitic.

    Sadly I can't say I'm surprised.
