Debt Deal Passes House with Strong Bi-Partisan Support

The debt deal to raise the debt ceiling and enact budget cuts has passed the House of Representatives with strong bi-partisan support.  It will now go on to the Senate, where they will vote on it tomorrow.  It is expected to pass easily there, then will be signed into law by President Obama.

In a touching moment, Representative Gabrielle Giffords returned triumphantly to Congress in order to vote in favor of the bill.
