Eww: What 15 Years in the Tour de France Does to Your Legs

These veins look like they are totally fake.  Instead, they're totally creepy. Georgie Hincapie's legs after riding 15 editions of the Tour de France:

  1. Hmmm... IMHO this is more about genetics than bike riding no matter how strenuous. Those are varicose veins, not just bulging from low fat ratio. They are very noticeable because he's got no fat under the skin and, from what I see, shaves his legs. In fact, it is sedentary people that are more prone to such, not someone working their leg muscles.
