Kucinich: Obama Should Be Impeached

You may have varying opinions on Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), but one thing is always certain: he speaks his mind.  For example, in a 2007 Presidential debate, Kucinich stated that he saw a UFO and that it "moved him."  Now he is saying something new:  President Obama must be impeached.

During the Presidency of George W. Bush, Kucinich called multiple times for his impeachment.  Certainly being consistent, Kucinich wondered aloud about the impeachment of President Barack Obama on the grounds that the President's campaign against Libya is illegal.

The Congressman "strongly raised objections to the constitutionality of the president’s actions” according to two lawmakers during a Democratic caucus on Saturday.  He further openly questioned Democrats and their morals, asking why few of them raised any concern over the President's plan.

Amongst other Democrats that doubted the President's decision on Libya yesterday were Representatives Jerrold Nadler of New York, Mike Capuano of Massachusetts, Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas, Maxine Waters of California, Rob Andrews of New Jersey, Barbara Lee of California, Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton of Washington D.C., and Donna Edwards of Maryland.

POLITICO continues its report:
Saturday’s conference call was organized by Rep. John Larson (Conn.), chairman of the Democratic Caucus and the fourth-highest ranking party leader. Larson has called for Obama to seek congressional approval before committing the United States to any anti-Qadhafi military operation.
“They consulted the Arab League. They consulted the United Nations. They did not consult the United States Congress,” one Democrat lawmaker said of the White House. “They’re creating wreckage, and they can’t obviate that by saying there are no boots on the ground. … There aren’t boots on the ground; there are Tomahawks in the air.”
“Almost everybody who spoke was opposed to any unilateral actions or decisions being made by the president, and most of us expressed our constitutional concerns. There should be a resolution and there should be a debate so members of Congress can decide whether or not we enter in whatever this action is being called,” added another House Democrat opposed to the Libyan operation.

  1. I don't see anything in this article specifically quoting Kucinich as saying Obama should be impeached. We all obviously heard Dennis saying that Obama needed Congressional approval.

  2. This creature MUST NOT be impeached, simply arrested and jailed!! He is NOT LEGALLY president! He has never produced proof that he is Constitutionally qualified to hold the office he is usurping. Impeachment in a way would legitimize this criminal!! ARREST! IMPRISON!

Oh by the way where were you when that degenerate pyschopath George Bush the real usurper trashed the costitution and committed war crimes. He should have been charged with treason then jailed.
