Rage Against the Machine Guitarist: Hey, Let's Rage for the Union Machine!

Rage Against the Machine is one of the most tool-tastic bands of the last twenty years. Not only does their music suck to those above 17 but they are corporate sellouts and whiny bitches, to boot. But that won't stop their members from saying stupid things about events they couldn't possibly understand.
So the solution to the Wisconsin budget battle? Playing music, of course!
"So clearly, the issue isn't the state budget," said Morello. "It's breaking the right of working people to stand up to corporate power. That's what they want to do, and that's what we're not going to let them do."
Because, of course, a forgotten member of a forgotten (and sucky) band is the rock in which we build the fight for tomorrow (or something):
Morello said he was willing to play in Indiana, Ohio, or any other state fighting for workers' rights. "Wherever The Nightwatchman is needed, The Nightwatchman will be," he said.
Another gem was when the guitarist said that Wisconsin was the "next Egypt." And which side do you think the public unions remind you more of.....

Do you wonder why no one listens to your shitty music anymore? Go back to 1997.

  1. Truly, there is no hotter battleground for the encroachment of Corporate Power than the taxpayer funded benefits packages of state employees.

  2. I wish that I could hate Tom Morello's product, but I can't. Mine is a much heavier burden than someone that can.

Trust me, he goes against everything that I believe, but when he picks up the guitar, I can listen for hours. It is a curse on me and I hate it, too.

The Audioslave work is incredible. DAMMIT.

But, I never pay for it, either.
