Good News in Virginia.

Democrat Senator James Webb, who is considered a centrist within his Party, has announced his decision not to seek a second term in office next year. This should not come as a surprise to anyone who has closely watched the Virginia Senate race shape up, because Senator Webb hasn't raised any money at all.

Score another one for the Republican Party.

Our pool of potential 2012 candidates in Virginia is strong with George Allen, Bob McDonnell, and Eric Cantor in the waiting, while the Democrats bench is depleted and drawn out. And the successful 2009 and 2010 elections bode well for another successful Republican campaign in 2012, despite poll numbers that favor Obama's reelection in the Conservative leaning state.

The Democrats can chalk up another loss on the board for 2012.

What say you?
