14 Killed in Libya Protests

At least fourteen people have been killed in new protests in the North African country of Libya. The nation is dominated by dictator Muommar Kadaffi. He has ruled the nation as an 'Arab socialist' country since the late 1960s. Since he took over the country, Libya funded many terrorist groups and had a nuclear weapons program.

A video provided by al-Warfali of the scene in Zentana showed marchers chanting and holding a banner that read "Down with Gadhafi. Down with the regime."
Opposition website Libya Al-Youm said four protesters were slain by snipers from the Internal Security Forces in the eastern city of Beyida, which had protests Wednesday and Thursday. It was not clear when the protesters were killed and also unclear if these deaths were included in the total reported by al-Warfali.

One can only hope that this regime will crumble under the will of its people.
