Egyptian Police Returning to Streets, Helicopters in Sky

Al Jazeera is reporting that the Egyptian police forces have returned to the streets of Egypt. This comes from their live coverage of the protests and right after opposition leader Mohammed ElBaradei spoke to a crowd at Cairo's Tahrir (Liberation) Square.

This also comes as thousands are marching in Alexandria in defiance of the curfew. There had been earlier reports that police would come back to the streets Monday, and it is unknown the level of police that have actually come out.

  1. I don't think helicopters will stop protesters. For 30 years they were fooled by the government and the president Hosni Mubarak. So they will do whatever it takes to get rid of them.
