Toomey vs. Sestak poll.

Former Republican Congressman Pat Toomey and Democratic Congressman Joe Sestak are in a dead heat with almost 36 hours until the polling booths open in Pennsylvania, according to a poll released today by the Susquehanna Polling & Research firm. Toomey has led most of the race, and it just recently tightened up, even though Republican Tom Corbett will win the Gubernatorial race easily.

Susquehanna Polling & Research Survey of 800 Likely Voters:
Pat Toomey (R) - 46%.
Rep. Sestak (D) - 44%.
Other/undecided - 9%.

Pat Toomey, formerly of the Conservative Club for Growth, was the reason Senator Specter left the Republican Party last year, due to Toomey's planned Primary challenge. Representative Joe Sestek defeated Senator Specter in the Democrat Primary earlier this year, even though the White House was behind the turncoat Senator until the very end, which came rather quickly.

No-one in Pennsylvania has an acceptable excuse for not voting this election.
