The fallout from the Volkswagen emissions scandal have not subsided in the least. With reports stating that the German automaker may be on the hook for billions in fines, the new CEO is telling his employees to buckle up.
Reuters is reporting that the company may layoff thousands of workers. This comes as VW's stock price has been cut by about half.
