A man is under arrest and facing charges of murder of a police officer in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Police say Kevin Daigle shot state trooper Steven Vincent in the head.
Vincent has since died from his wounds.
“This loss exacts an enormous emotional toll on the state police family, but we will do what is necessary and proper to honor Steve and support those who knew and loved him,” Col. Mike Edmonson said.
