A shooting at a kid's birthday on a Detroit basketball court has left one person dead and least 9 others injured. According to Detroit police, 10 people were shot, a 21-year-old male is dead and 2 others are in critical condition.
The shooting took place shortly before 9 p.m on a basketball court near the intersection of Dexter and Tuxedo on Detroit's west side. Officials said there were hundreds of people at the party and witnesses are refusing to talk with or cooperate with the Detroit police.
Detroit police have confirmed that none of the shooting victims were children.
