U.S. airman opens fire in North Dakota Wal-Mart: Kills self and one store employee

On Tuesday, a U.S. airman walked into a Walmart Supercenter in Grand Forks, North Dakota and opened fire with a handgun, killing one worker and injuring a second. The man then turned the gun on himself and committed suicide.

Police officials confirmed the identity of the shooter as 21-year-old Marcell Willis.

"We are deeply saddened about this situation and our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.

"We are still learning information about the events surrounding this tragedy and assisting law enforcement in their investigation," Walmart spokesman Brian Nick said.
