"I didn't see any reason to keep them," was the reason given by Hillary Clinton on Tuesday as to why personal emails stored on her private server from when she served as the Secretary of State were deleted.
"Why did you delete the personal emails?" Buzzfeed's Ben Smith asked Clinton.
"Because they were personal and private about matters that I believed were in the scope of my personal privacy and that particularly of other people.
"They had nothing to do with work, but I didn't see any reason to keep them," Clinton said.
Clinton also noted it was at her discretion to determine what were personal and work-related emails.
