Early Results Show McConnell With Roughly Twice the Votes of Bevin in Kentucky| Update: McConnell Wins

In early results reported by the AP, incumbent Mitch McConnell has twice the votes as his Republican primary opponent Matt Bevin.

With seven percent of the vote in, McConnell has 62.4% of the vote, while Bevin is far behind with 32.9% of the vote. Candidates Sterling, Payne, and Copas combined have garnered a little less than 5% of the vote thus far.
