Sunnis Fight Back Against al Qaeda in Anbar

The Obama Administration has certainly made the hard-earned situation in Iraq significantly worse over the last five years. Anbar province in Iraq became largely peaceful after the Awakening movement and the surge. Now, with al Qaeda seizing parts of Ramadi and Fallujah, it appears that things are in poor shape.

Still, there is some positive momentum as the Sunni sheikhs are rallying against the al Qaeda fighters-- even after they recently repelled an Iraqi army foray into Fallujah. The Iraqi Army is also planning a large force in the province.
