Iron Man 3 Review

Last night I had the pleasure of watching Iron Man 3 at my local movie theatre in Upstate, New York with my girlfriend and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the way it all turned out.

Tony Stark is as bravado as usual, but he's a changed man after the events of Iron Man 2: he's less sure of himself  and even the mention of New York causes him to suffer from anxiety attacks, while Pepper's life is seriously threatened, and spoiler alert, even thought gone near the end of the film.

The film's antagonist for half of the film is a giant, albeit hilarious, misdirect that is acting under the orders of an once idealistic young scientist gone terribly wrong in a plot that extends all the way to the Vice-President and will have you guessing at every turn.

And have you ever wondered what dozens of Iron Man suits fighting at the same time looked like? Well.... You will find out in Iron Man 3 in an action packed battle scene between Tony Stark, Col. Rhodes and a legion of biologically altered super-soldiers... And you will not come away disappointed.

I would rate this film 4.5 out of 5 stars and recommend every fan of action, whether you've seen the previous installments or not, to head down to your local cinema or theatre and enjoy a mind-blowing film adventure as soon as it appears in your area.

Oh... Do not stay for the after credits scene... It is a gigantic waste of time.
