Mike Muligeta or Mike Mulugeta?

There has been some discussion about which name of the Boston Marathon bombing suspect is correct. The vast majority of people on the news, Twitter, and Facebook are using "Mulugeta," so I am inclined to agree with that. It also is a more prevalent name in various cultures.
