Welcome South Sudan

The Republic of South Sudan officially gained their independence today and joined the brotherhood of nations.
South Sudan, which is predominately African and Christian, has hoped for this day to come for several decades, and I am glad former U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell was there to welcome them to nationhood on behalf of America.
