One of our writers, Mr. K, supports former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee for the Republican nomination in 2012. He's been making the right moves to run so far,
so Politico takes a look at his options:
“I just don’t understand how it is that a person can read these polls day after day and the narrative is constantly everybody but me,” he told POLITICO. “Whether I do it or not, the fact is that if one looks at the overall body of information that’s available, nobody would be in a better position to take it all the way to November.”
He's setting himself up as the outsider trying to represent that GOP as a whole. Not a bad strategy but he has to win over other cores of the GOP other than the religious folks.
