Growing in numbers: Fifteen states now refusing Syrian refugees UPDATE: 23 states now saying no

UPDATE: 23 states are now saying they will refuse Syrian refugees. The states now include: AL, AZ, AR, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NC, NH, NJ, OH, TN, TX, WV, WI.


Fifteen state governors are now saying they will not accept any Syrian refugees being brought to the United States by the Obama administration.

Here are the states now refusing President Obama’s Syrian refugees:

Alabama
Arizona
Arkansas
Florida
Illinois
Indiana
Louisiana
Massachusetts
Michigan
Mississippi
New Hampshire
North Carolina
Ohio
Texas
Wisconsin

Fox News is reporting that South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley stop accepting refugees. However, Haley has not actually issued any official statement stating that South Carolina will stop acceptong Syrian refugees.
