Senate office building briefly evacuated after bomb threat

On Tuesday, several floors of a Senate office building were briefly evacuated after Capitol Police received a bomb threat.

“‎USCP continues to investigate the report of a suspicious package in room SD-340, Dirksen Senate Office Building. This is the result of a phoned in bomb threat to the USCP,” Capitol Police said in a statement.
