Scott Walker 2015 South Carolina Freedom Summit Speech

Wisconsin Governor and possible 2016 presidential candidate Scott Walker took a jab at another potential GOP candidate, Jeb Bush, during his speech at the 2015 South Carolina Freedom Summit on Saturday.

“From our family, we didn’t inherit fame or fortune, what we inherited was the belief that if you work hard and you play by the rules you can do and be anything you want,” Walker said.

Walker also talked about what it meant to him to visit Independence Hall for the first time.

“And it dawned on me – these were ordinary people,. What has made America amazing is that [in times of crisis] there have been men and women of courage who have been willing to think more about the future of their children and their grandchildren than they thought about their own futures.

“This is the time when we can look back and tell future generations we were there, we heeded the call, we did what was required to make America great again," Walker said.
