On Tuesday, U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) official announced that he is entering the 2016 presidential race.
"I am running for president to return our country to the principles of liberty and limited government," Paul said on his new website.
Paul will formally announce his 2016 presidential bid during a rally in Louisville at 12 PM EST.
