Santa Monica College is on lockdown Friday afternoon because of a shooting investigation.
Campus police at the two-year college in Santa Monica, Calif. confirmed that there are multiple victims, but did not have details regarding their conditions. Police could not confirm the status of the shooter.
Students are advised to stay away from the campus, according to the school. Students on campus are advised to stay in place.
The campus is in the 1900 block of Pico Boulevard.
