When honoring the men and women who made great sacrifice and contribution to the Afghanistan theatre of the War on Terror, please remember our friends to the North who joined their first conflict in six decades to support our mission.
They are a rarity in this conglomeration of nations that helped to establish NATO, as our zeal for liberty and freedom can only be matched by the Canadians, and the same goes for the unwavering friendship between our two country's.
