British Five Pound Note to Feature Sir Winston Churchill

Seven decades after Sir Winston Churchill saved the British nation and the free world from Adolph Hitler's genocidal Nazi totalitarianism with his steadfast convictions and unshakable demeanor, he is being featured on Britain's five pound note. Finally I may add.

"I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat."
The Churchill bank note will enter circulation in 2016 and his image will replace that of social reformer and early 1800's Christian philanthropist Elizabeth Fry, who has donned the five pound note since 2002.

I hope English school children are taught that the London standing so prominently over Churchill's right side on the note would never have been possible if not for his courageous stand against the forces of darkness, hatred and evil that swallowed Europe whole in the late 1930's, and if not for him, would have captured the British Isles too.

What say you?
