6.6 Earthquake Rocks China Sichuan Province, 100+ Dead

The Chinese Province of Sichuan was rocked by a powerful 6.6 magnitude earthquake earlier today, killing over a hundred people and injuring thousands more, with the local Communist Party chief overseeing that region telling state media that due to landslides and communication disruptions, it will take time to receive an accurate number of casualties.

Sichaun, which is located in southwest China, suffered an absolutely devastating earthquake five years ago that killed over 87,000 people in a 8.5 magnitude tremor that rocked the ancient land for nearly two whole minutes and sparked almost four thousand aftershocks.

Emergency responders and high ranking government officials are in the province to aid and survey the poor lucked residents second round with the Earth's tectonic plates, which thankfully delivered a less severe blow this time around and hopefully will not produce any more dead from its wake.

What say you?
