NYPD Investigating Disturbing Al-Qaeda Graphic

HT: New York Post

The NYPD is investigating a disturbing graphic (featured below) that has appeared on numerous al-Qaeda and terrorist oriented websites over the past day, which features New York City at sunset and says: "Al-Qaeda Coming Soon Again In New York."

The department's Intelligence Division is leading the search into the graphic's origin and any threats that might be associated with it.

This might be a stretch, but with the one year anniversary of SEAL Team Six's dramatic operation that took down Osama bin Laden approaching, maybe al-Qaeda is gearing up for acts of retribution, and its starting on a psychological level with the city that they can't help but target continuously.

Regardless, I'm confident the competent professionals at the NYPD will discover both the origin and the meaning behind this disgusting graphic, which should serve as a reminder to citizens that our war has not ended, and that our enemies will not stop fighting until we eliminate them one by one.

What say you?
