Image difference

I do not think I can tell the difference between HD and regular TV still. My parents had our TV upgraded last year and they have told me time and time again that there is a noticeable difference. I still am not seeing it! I am not sure why that is exactly. I think I have gotten so used to the advanced stages of images on TV, in movies and all that it is hard to tell the difference until I see an old movie or something. I was actually just talking to one of my friends about how our generation is just so used to having these really advanced and realistic images in movies and on TV. It definitely makes older movies with less advanced stunts and effects look almost silly. I grew up watching those movies, but never really noticed the difference in the effects. I guess that is something you notice when you get older, like many other things. Maybe I will eventually tell the difference between HD and normal TV, but I still see more differences easily with stunts and effects.
