  1. I think Ron Paul did pretty good as did Newt Gingrich, but Santorum and Romney were bloodied and beaten at the end. I'll go with RP.

  2. I'd go with Newt. Then Paul. Santo and Romney were terrible - petty politics as usual.

  3. Mitt Romney is the candidate who will bring pride and prosperity back to the USA. When he speaks, his love for this country comes through. He is not in this for a power grab as is Santorum. Why would Romney give up a successful career? It’s because he wants to get this country back on track. It’s not the establishment republicans only who back Mitt Romney, it is the common person like me. We are the ones sending in our $25 to help him win this election. We don’t care that he is a Mormon, we look beyond the “categories” and look to a person who deeply wants to set this country on the right track. Let’s elect Mitt and watch a real American presidential campaign in the fall.

    1. Romney's owned by the people that "donate" to his campaing, just like congress votes to benefit their "friends" the corp/lobbyists.
      Goldman Sachs $521,180
      JPMorgan Chase & Co $356,400
      Morgan Stanley $297,550
      Credit Suisse Group $296,160
      Citigroup Inc $280,050
      Bank of America $245,900
Remember that he stands for NDAA, the Patriot Act, more wars. Also remember to kiss your children one last times before Romney, Santorum or Gingrich send them to wars (for profits). Educate yourself... Read and learn about Ron Paul. The only one for The Constitution of the United States and your Rights! Media blackout is not giving him a chance. Only those who are wanted by corporate and the elite are the ones you see and hear about. Ron Paul 2012!

    4. Sorry,I don't trust any of the others, only Ron Paul will get my vote.He my not be the best speaker, but his principles and his 30 plus year record speaks for itself. He predicted a lot of these problems that we face today. The others can be bought. They would send us to another war that we can't even afford. We are broke!

    5. RomneyCare..really?? really?? The main battle in this election and you want to hand control over to the founder of Obamacare? really?? Stunning Hypocrisy on so many levels!

  4. As you saw just a moment ago...

All three (Mitt, Rick and Newt) simply follow the line of questioning and they forget about their previous answer. They are all going to lower taxes and start another undeclared war (or two now with Syria...), but who is going to pay in the long run.

Only Ron Paul keeps his thoughts in order: The Constitution and money that we don't have.

Is it that difficult for the others to do?

    1. No, Mitt clearly explained that the US needs to work with Syria so that they don't help Iran.

RP had a good debate and is a great man, but can't win. Mitt has the chrisma and business accumen to make changes that the country needs and will appeal to the moderates and beat Obama.

    2. Chrisma(charisma) and business accumen(acumen)...Seriously??

Only clear logic and consistent dependence on our constitution is going to help us as a nation. Your attributes for Romney are purely superficial. It's a debate, not a beauty contest.

    3. Thanks for the spell check erb. Charisma and business acumen are legit characteristics of leadership. In a presidential election charisma is especially important when so many people vote based on the headlines and 10 second blurbs from headline news. Business acumen is exactly what we need to deal with 15 trillion in debt. Avoiding all military confrontation is much too simple of an answer in a world with crazy dictators.

    4. Herb,
Nobody can argue about Paul's consistency. He is a good man and has had the same story for decades, but it will take much more than consistency to lead our country. The world changes and we need to change with it. Dirty nukes probably could not fit in a suitcase in the 80’s, but today that is a real concern. It would be great if we could ignore the people that want to kill us, but the US and our next president need to be resolute in dealing with our enemies.

Maybe RP as a VP to Romney??

    1. Really? All you have against Paul is name-calling? How can you call Santorum a conservative when he voted to increase the debt ceiling FIVE times?

  6. Rick Santorum won this debate hands down. The fact that he was able to maintain his composure while being hammered by Romney and Paul most of the evening is a testimate to his character. Unfortunately being in politics you do have to be a team player to get things done unless you are Obama. Ron Paul is "out there" Doees he work for Obama or Romeny? Newt can do us all a favor and get out of the race now because he will not be able to defeat Obama. Rick needs Newts 10-12% to finally put Ronmey to rest.

    1. Santorum is an eager war lover who can't wait to start WWIII. Actually, Romany and Gingrich are too. Did you know wars are more for profit than anything else? Research the military complex and their involvement into our govt and how they sit and push for wars. That's what you want? I always thought Christians were against wars. What am I missing here?

Educate yourself... Read and learn about Ron Paul. The only one for The Constitution of the United States and your Rights! Media blackout is not giving him a chance. Only those who are wanted by corporate and the elite are the ones you see and hear about. Ron Paul 2012!

    2. PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS, Read the Constitution. If for no other reason than to have a grasp on what your rights in this country are. I do not say this from a mean spirited place! I was like you once, then I ACTUALLY reasearched each one and believe me... you NEED to understand that there is only ONE person that was on that stage in defense of YOUR rights. Good luck in your voting...Ron Paul 2012 for me :) :)

    3. You must have been watching a different debate than everyone else, because all of the analysts said Rick lost. He is not ready for prime time and has that stupid deer in the headlights look that would get him slaughtered against Obama.

Mitt is articulate, he has track record governing, and is an executive leader. Rick looks like a school kid that has been working really hard to get a C+ in debate class.

  7. At least Paul and Gingrich both answered the last question as posed. Rick and Mitt dodged the last question to try to end on a high note of the "I love America- vote for me" speech.... Contraception issue was a waste of time IMO, but tha't just me. Newt tried to be funny with the one-word description ..cause he couldn't come up with anything like honest, admirable, integrety, etc that would not have been laughable. Rick's(courage) and Mitt's
(can't even rememember it) oneworder were week...Paul=cosistant......Got to respect that

    1. The contraceptives and abortion question is just a wedge issue that frankly will never be solved. Its used to divide people but Ron Paul answered it best. KEEP GOVTOUT OF OUR PERSONAL LIVES!!!!

  8. Romney and Santorum make me want to throw up. I thought Newt and Paul spoke their minds and told it like it is. Romney and Santorum sound like a couple of third graders arguing. Our governemnt is really becoming a joke as nothing gets done. Lets cut spending...turn cheek... lets create funding for this or that. Way too many bills and counter bills being created and nothing getting done as usual. Fix our debt! stop spending tax dollars over seas and saying we need to cut our military spending is a joke... Bring them home and secure our borders first before worrying about Pakistans borders.

    1. You sound like you may enjoy a visit to a Fema Camp so you can grasp what NDAA and The Patriot Act REALLY means. OR do you not know about your rights? Have you read AND study The Constitution of the United States? Your Bill of Rights? and REALLY understand them? You like wars? research the military complex. Know about the Fed reserve? not as federal as we though, eh? More like a private corp printing money. WHAT? you didn't know this?

      With what? His teleprompters?

    3. atavistic? Somebody got the thesaurus out. You sound like one of those really intelligent and sophisticated liberals...like all other liberals you don't use any facts or reasoning, just claims or accusations.

Obama has made our economy weaker by killing the keystone pipeline plan and not doing anything to develop natural gas. Gas prices are going higher and he will have to take responsibility.
He said that $9 trillion was too much debt..."unamerican" and now it's up to 15 Trillion. He has made our country weak and will be a one term president.

  10. Ron Paul won the debate...he WAS consistent! He also was knowledgeable, honest, and WARNED AMERICA about what is to come if we continue on the same path...we are BROKE, and we are being used...the goal is to break our backs...IF Ron Paul is elected, he will try to STOP this downward spiral and continue to educate the American people on OUR enemies, both foreign and domestic! Vote Ron Paul 2012!!!!

  11. Ron Paul! If he doesn't win the Repub spot, better hope he runs 3rd party. If not can you say "Obama"!

    1. I know right? You have to laugh at this man been so consistent and honest. He is everything the others lack! Are you laughing at the kids dying in those wars too? Maybe you find it funny to end up with no rights and the govt telling you what you can and can not do with your own body. Or maybe, just maybe... you're laughing because it is better than crying. RON PAUL 2012
