President Barack Obama has decided to release 5 Taliban leaders from Guantanamo Bay in order to further peace negotiations with the terrorist organization that has swore to overthrow the currently democratic government once NATO/Coalition forces leave at the end of 2014.
What the hell is wrong with this asshole in the Oval Office?
He's not only talking to terrorists, who have no interest in peace or civil government in Afghanistan today, tomorrow, or one hundred years from now, but he's releasing five of the worst individuals in United States custody, who are responsible for the deaths of untold amounts, to gain good will with barbarians.
Obama is flushing ten years of United States, NATO, and Afghan hard work down the drain. I don't know why, because I'm pretty sure the American public (and lets not forget who were betraying first and foremost - Afghanistan) don't like the idea of seeing all our blood and treasure go to waste - not for the reason the war wasn't worth it, but because the idiots in Washington screwed our mission over.
The War in Afghanistan has been worth it. We have killed or captured thousands of al-Qaida, Taliban and other jihadists, while freeing the Afghan people and using our military bases to take out Osama... However, our current President is attempting to erase ten years of progress by legitimizing the people responsible for all that aforementioned anguish.
Obama's no Lincoln... He's selling those freed back to their slave masters faster then he can think of ways to.
