One of Huntsman's problems has been his apparent arrogance when dealing with people, or situations, but it hasn't effected his goal of performing somewhat reasonable in New Hampshire, and perhaps not leaving the race immediately. However, his latest display of odd behavior could ruin any chances he's had.
When asked about his decision not to campaign in Iowa this morning, Mr. Huntsman had this to say: "They pick corn in Iowa. They pick presidents in New Hampshire." Except for selecting Bush in '00, and Dole in '96 as the Republican nominees for President, Iowa has no track record of, uh, success...
Insulting the social conservative bedrock, small farmers, country folk and a state that is potentially a swing state is not only incredibly stupid, but also a good reason why Huntsman hasn't made it - he is arrogant and doesn't understand how America lives, or operates.
