Seattle Mariners outfielder Greg Halman was killed in a stabbing in Rotterdam, a Dutch TV station reported Monday.
NOS-TV said Halman's family had confirmed his death.
The 24-year-old Halman hit .230 with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs in 35 games last season.
