D.C. Smithsonian Museum Closed by Demonstrators

Thanks for closing down a free exhibit, douchebags:
Washington’s National Air and Space Museum has been closed for the day after demonstrators tried to enter the building on the National Mall with signs, and at least one person was pepper sprayed.

Smithsonian spokesman John Gibbons says a large group of demonstrators, estimated to be between 100 and 200 people, arrived at about 3 p.m. and tried to enter the building.

Gibbons says when a security guard tried to stop them, saying they could not enter with the signs, he was apparently held by demonstrators. A second guard who arrived used pepper spray on at least one person and the crowd dispersed.

Gibbons says one woman was arrested by police. The museum is expected to open as usual on Sunday.
