Reports of Gunman on Cal State Northridge Campus Leads to Evacuations

Breaking:
The library at Cal State Northridge was evacuated Tuesday after reports of a gunman on campus, KTLA.com reported.

At 10:27 a.m., university police received information about a white male, about 5-feet-8-inches tall, wearing a white T-shirt that read, "Human Rights Violation," according to the university's posting on its Facebook page.

University police are currently conducting a thorough search of the Oviatt library., according to the university. No arrests have been made and the individual's location is unclear.

The university remains open, but the school said any student, faculty member or staff who feels uncomfortable could leave the campus without notifying supervisors, according to a Facebook post.
