Breaking: Solyndra Vice Presidents Gave $4,600 to Obama, Founder $1,000 to Barbara Boxer

This adds another level to the Solyndra story which is quickly blossoming. Solyndra's swift collapse and the $500 millions rushed to it by the Obama Administration has raised more than just eyebrows.

Now it appears that President Obama's political campaign received over $2,000 from the now-defunct company's Senior Vice President for Marketing, Karen Alter. In addition to giving over $10,000 to the DNC, Alter also donated $2,300 to Barack Obama's Presidential Campaign in 2008.

You can see her other donations here.

Executive Vice President of Operations and Engineering Ben Bierman also added to the Obama gravy train. In 2011, months after filing bankruptcy and three months before the FBI raid, he coughed up $1,000 for the Obama campaign himself. In 2008 he donated $1,300 to Obama's campaign as well as thousands for other left-leaning causes.

You can see this here.

Complicating things even further, the company's founder and former CEO Christian Gronet gave $1,000 to California Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer just last year, just a month after President Obama visited the company.

You can see Gronet's donation here.

This raises more than just questions. Bierman's donations seem almost too-well placed in 2011, almost like trying to buy protection for the company before the FBI raid.
