More People Approved of Way Bush Handled Katrina (32%) than Way Obama Handling Economy (26%)

And guess what: President Bush didn't use Hurricane Katrina (which happened in the United States) as a crutch the way President Obama is using the earthquake in Japan to say the United States economy hit "bad luck."

From a CBS poll, taken in 2006, six months after Katrina hit New Orleans:
PRES. BUSH'S RESPONSE TO NEEDS OF KATRINA VICTIMS
                    Now        9/2005
Approve      32%          44%
Disapprove  64             48
And from a PBS article, written two days ago:
President Obama's approval rating on his handling of the economy has sunk to a new, very low 26 percent, according to a Gallup poll out Wednesday.
