Djou Running for Old Seat in HI

Mr. K will be happy to hear this one. Charles Djou, who served a partial term in the House as a Hawaii Republican, is back. He lost a bid for a second term last year and yesterday announced another bid for the seat.

“As we look to our future, we cannot afford passive representation,” Djou said. “The budget debate matters as our nation’s debt has been downgraded for the first time in history. At stake is nothing less than whether we will continue to be a great nation or whether we will slide into obsolescence.”

We hope he does well. He is an active-duty member of our military and will deploy to Afghanistan later this year.
