Sanders: Primary Obama

Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who is the only self proclaimed socialist in Congress today, believes Barack Obama has moved so far to the right that he needs to be primaried in next November's Presidential election.

Besides from the point that most Americans disapprove of President Obama because of his failed liberal and incompetent policies, I can't believe Senator Sanders has actually broadcasted his true feelings for the world to hear - especially when the President is under heavy fire from both sides right now.

I do not think anyone will challenge the President, besides maybe Senator Russ Feingold, but the vital fact his crazy base is starting to openly discuss political disloyalty because he hasn't done enough, should make every GOP presidential hopeful - hopeful indeed of sweet, sweet victory.

What say you?

  1. Sanders isn't the only self-proclaimed socialist in Congress, just the only one in the Senate.
Also, Feingold has stated he won't run. There's no way anyone's winning against Obama. Not even a Republican.

What is so crazy about actual leftists not supporting Obama? He's continued many Bush administration policies. To continue to support him would be a really dishonest double standard.

You claim that most Americans don't support Obama because he's too liberal? Please. How about 70% wanting us out of Afghanistan?
