Two Men Arrested in Seattle Terror Plot

Chalk up another victory for the good guys.

Two muslim men, both natural born citizens, were arrested Wednesday night in Seattle for plotting to attack a local military recruiting station with grenades and machine guns. Reports indicate the Jihadists were inspired by the horrific 2009 Fort Hood massacre that resulted in the deaths of thirteen American soldiers.

Local law enforcement were alerted to the terrorist threat by a third man, who was approached about joining the plot, but who worked with the police instead. The Federal Bureau of Investigation's Joint Terrorism Task Force played a key role in the successful operation by combining federal, state and local resources.

The Department of Justice has charged them with conspiracy to murder officers and employees of the federal government, conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction and other crimes.

This planned attack would have been much worse than Fort Hood, because the Military Entrance Processing Station they were targeting houses not only many civilian employees and military personnel, but a child's daycare center.

We have once again succeeded in stopping the bad guys, but there will always be one more Islamic terrorist to catch - and we must never forget that.

What say you?
