Greek Confidence Vote Results

Prime Minister George Papandreou has survived the confidence vote in the Greek Parliament. The socialist leader had been forced to accept a second round of austerity measures in exchange for another European bailout.

His PASOK Socialist Party holds the majority in Parliament.

Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou has survived a confidence vote in parliament after garnering more than the absolute majority of 151 votes he needed in the 300-member legislature.
It's a step but Greece is still near bankruptcy.

UPDATE: 6:10pm EST

The vote was 155 to 143, along party lines.
