U.S. Senate Passes Resolution Honoring Military and Intelligence for Killing bin Laden

In a rare sign of unanimity on the Senate floor this afternoon, Senators voted 97-0 to honour the members of the Military and Intelligence community who carried out the mission that killed al-Qaida terrorist Osama bin Laden Sunday afternoon.

This comes as the United States has achieved its greatest sense of unity since we were attacked almost ten years ago. While unlikely to last, we should all enjoy these few days of celebrating our greatest War on Terror victory as a country of Americans; not Democrats or Republicans.

Terrorists don't care who they kill, but we should all care when we kill them.

What say you?
