Romney Comes Out Against Releasing bin Laden Photos

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney has come out in support of President Obama's decision regarding the Osama bin Laden pictures. This took place after all GOP candidates taking part in a debate yesterday with the exception of Herman Cain said that they would (even Ron Paul).

What is he thinking?
Romney is towing a different line:

"It's best not to release the photo because it has the potential to incite retaliatory violence against Americans," Romney, the nominal front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination, said in a statement to POLITICO.

That's really too bad, Mitt. You had a chance to support releasing the pictures and disagree with President Obama on foreign policy. So even if you were President, you would not want the world to see what happens when you cross the United States?

Heck, even Carl Levin wants to release the photos. Even famed fool Jon Stewart has called for the release. If Romney wants to claim that he is strong on defense, he has to do more than simply parrot talking points. He has to show how he will do so.

The former Massachusetts Governor already has RomneyCare around his neck. Does he really want to hurt his credibility further within the Republican Party?
