On Tonight's GOP Debaters

Five potential candidates for the 2012 Republican nomination will be debating on Fox News this evening for the hearts and minds of South Carolinians. And I would like to share my opinion of all five.

Herman Cain: The Conservative talk show host from Georgia doesn't have a real chance of changing many minds, but his exceptional intellect will wow voters.

Gary Johnson: The former Governor of New Mexico will be able to tout his record of vetoing almost all of the legislation that reached his desk, but admittedly smoking pot in violation of federal law will not gain votes.

Ron Paul: The Texas Congressman represents about 10% of the Party whenever he runs or is polled in any Presidential election. Like Sarah Palin, everyone already has an settled opinion of the man, so his stance isn't going to change.

Tim Pawlenty: The former Governor of Minnesota is the only "front-runner" debating tonight, and thus he is most likely to either make, or break his 2012 candidacy tonight than any other Presidential candidate tonight.

Rick Santorum: The former United States Senator has the strongest foreign policy credentials of any person debating tonight, but his name recognition is so nonexistent that I highly doubt anyone will remember anything he says.

What say you?
